Podcast Guest “It's a long road” is the runner and biochemist Nikos Gutzourelas. With Niko we will have an interesting discussion around concepts such as intermittent fasting, calories and nutrition, but we will also develop other interesting topics that concern amateur runners.

 

My guest today is the runner and biochemist Nikos Gudzourelas. Nikos is a Biochemist - Biotechnologist, graduate of the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology of the University of Thessaly, holder of a master's degree, but also a PhD in 'Biochemistry'. He has co-authored 29 publications in international scientific journals and is co-author of the book "Intermittent Fasting and Disease Prevention". At the same time, he has presented scientific papers at Greek and International scientific conferences. For the last two years he has been a partner of Aegean Omiros College where he teaches in the undergraduate program of Dietetics. With Niko we will have an interesting discussion, since we will refer to intermittent fasting, general nutrition issues, but also to various interesting issues that concern amateur runners.
