Podcast Guests "It's a long road” is Giorgos Theocharis, one of the organizers of the race at the Serres motorway, the swimming coach, ultra-distance swimmer and long-distance runner Spyros Chrysikopoulos and long-distance runner Ino Stefani.

 

Spyros Chrysikopoulos
Spyros Chrysikopoulos is a graduate of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science of the University of Thessaly and is a swimming coach and ultra-distance swimmer. In 2017, he swam four times in a row across the Toroneos gulf in 34 hours and 10 minutes, while in 2019 he became the first Greek to swim 100 km. in a pool in 29 hours and 16 minutes. In 2021 he became a Guinness World Record holder as he swam 358.2 km. in a week at the OAKA swimming pool. In 2022 he swam continuously from Rhodes to the acropolis of Kastellorizo for 64 hours and 5 minutes and became the only swimmer in the world to remain in the sea for so many hours. He has also participated in many ultra-distance running races in Greece and abroad.

Ino Stefani
The next guest is the actress, co-presenter and member of the editorial team of the TV show Traction, Ino Stefani. In addition to her other activities, Ino is a short- and long-distance runner with participation in various races and finishes such as the 24-hour race at the Serres highway, but also the 150 km race in extreme conditions in Rovaniemi, Finland.
